Light of Life DJ offers a variety of services including entertainment for weddings, corporate/private parties, reunions, proms, and more! We have been honored to serve a variety of clients with different styles, personalities, and needs. So rest assured, we will tailor each & every event to match your wishes by sitting down to learn about you, your audience, and your vision. No matter what service you choose, you’ll have access to meet with your DJ in person, via FaceTime/Skype, through phone calls, and emails. We get the busy schedules or long distances, so we’re here to make it work for you!

Let’s be honest, your wedding reception is basically the biggest party you are ever going to throw. We can help create an energetic and uplifting experience that makes the night just as special as you are. You don’t have to worry about a thing — from the entrance to the toasts, and all the dancing to follow, we will take care of all the little details. Full dance floors, happy friends & family, stress-free receptions are just what what we do!
When it comes to wedding receptions, we are constantly reading and adapting to your specific crowd so that your guests are engaged but not bothered by that annoying guy on the mic. We accomplish this through proper microphone presence as well as the perfect music, flow, and transition. We are happy to accept song requests as long as the bride & groom approve — again, you’re the boss! (See our FAQs for more info!)
ceremony sound
Whether your ceremony is inside, outside, in a barn, or at the lake, it is one of the most beautiful and meaningful parts of your wedding day. With that, your guests actually want to hear the special message given, your beautiful vows, and the announcement of husband and wife as they share in your day. We’ve all been to that wedding where we couldn’t hear a thing — don’t let that be yours! Light of Life DJ Services will provide the necessary sound system and microphones to ensure all sound runs smoothly so your guests feel just as much a part of the action. We are also happy to provide music before the ceremony as guests arrive, during the ceremony for special events, and after the ceremony as guests depart. Having a musician? We will work with all ceremony vendors to ensure that they are well heard by your guests!
licensed officiants
At the end of your wedding day, the most important part is that… well, you’re married! This can’t happen without a ceremony officiant, and we’re happy to help provide you with one. Our owner, Ryan, serves as a pastor and licensed officiant who can offer a seamless experience all the way from your “I do’s” to the last song of the night. You’ll gain from his wedding expertise as you plan your ceremony and will get a personalized touch as he gets to know you and your story!
We are also proud to offer 3 pre-marital counseling sessions as a part of the Officiant package, including the SYMBIS marriage assessment. As a certified SYMBIS facilitator, Ryan will take the time to go through some preparatory questions on communication, personality, finances, house roles, spirituality, and more to help your transition into life together. Our hope is just to add some tools to your tool belt for a life-giving and successful marriage!
